BioI'm a second grade school teacher who was born and raised in Orange County, California. (My neighborhood in now way resembles what I've seen of the O.C.) I just finished my thesis on a reading program called Accelerated Reader, have finally earned my Master's, and vow never to take another class again!
I've been a Star Wars fan my entire life, and as you can probably tell from my user name, I am an admirer of Amidala’s royal handmaidens, and feel the characters are always overlooked and underappreciated.
I have the bad luck of falling in love with television shows only to see them canceled. Homefront. Earth 2. Remember WENN. Sliders. (Didn't cancel that one, but killed off half the cast.) Sports Night. Firefly. And my beloved Firefly. The only shows I watch on a regular basis now are Smallville...which isn't having it's strongest season this year.
I've recently become a fan of the fascinating world of Harry Potter and discovered that the fandom isn't as scary as everyone makes it out to be.
My live journal won’t have very many posts. I signed up for my account to interact with others, but I really don’t have much to say about myself. When I do make a post, I’ll do my best to make it interesting. :)
